Result: You are down ₹10,000 to ₹1,00,000. You have zero work. And you are too embarrassed to go to the police.

Statistic: In 2025, the National Cyber Crime Portal received over 3,000 complaints about fake escort and call boy scams from Jharkhand alone. That is 8–10 complaints every single day. Most are from Ranchi.
